Lifework Leadership training program in Amsterdam

Equipping professionals and entrepreneurs for influence in the city / society

To make the blessing of God’s Kingdom tangible and available in the nooks and crannies of society, it is vital that leaders of influence are equipped and encouraged to play an important role in this.

That is why ACCL offers from September 2020 a unique training for entrepreneurs and professionals, aimed at integrating calling, faith, and work. It is intended for entrepreneurs and business professionals who desire to use their gifts, talents, and influence to the glory of God and to be used for the impact of the Kingdom of God in society/city. This program facilitates a 9-month process of development in understanding the personal purpose/calling and mission and how to translate it into all aspects of life, including work/business and in the vision for their city.

Lifework Leadership was developed in the US and has long proven itself as a life-changing training for leaders in society. The City Changers movement has rolled out the program internationally and is working with Urban Life and ACCL to offer this now in Amsterdam.

During the training, leadership principles and inspiration are taken from the life of Jesus and that of the apostle Paul. Case studies are also discussed and speakers from the Netherlands and abroad share their own lives and experience.

One of the most powerful parts of this training is meeting with a cohort of like-minded Christian social leaders and entrepreneurs along with a number of church leaders, interacting and sharing. This creates lasting friendships and builds a tight network of leaders of influence and vision for the city.

Lifework Leadership trainings programma in Amsterdam

Toerusten van professionals en ondernemers voor invloed in van stad / maatschappij

Om de zegen van Gods Koninkrijk tastbaar en beschikbaar te maken in de haarvaten van de maatschappij is het van groot belang dat leiders van invloed toegerust en bemoedigd te worden om hier een belangrijke rol in te vervullen.

Daarom biedt ACCL vanaf september 2020 een unieke training aan voor ondernemers en professionals, gericht op het integreren van roeping, geloof en werk. Het is bedoeld voor ondernemers en zakelijke professionals die er naar verlangen om hun gaven, talenten en hun invloed in te zetten tot eer van God en om gebruikt te worden t.b.v. de uitwerking van het Koninkrijk van God in de maatschappij / stad. Dit programma faciliteert een 9 maanden durend proces van ontwikkeling in het verstaan van de persoonlijke roeping en missie en hoe dit te vertalen in alle aspecten van het leven, inclusief werk / onderneming.

Lifework Leadership is ontwikkeld in de US en heeft zich al jaren lang bewezen als levensveranderende training voor leiders in de maatschappij.  De City Changers beweging heeft het programma internationaal uitgerold en werkt met Urban Life en ACCL samen om dit in Amsterdam aan te bieden.

Tijdens de training worden leiderschapsprincipes en inspiratie gehaald uit het leven van Jezus en uit dat van de apostel Paulus. Ook worden case studies besproken en delen sprekers uit Nederland en daarbuiten uit hun eigen leven en ervaring.

For all who attended the consultation and participated in the research, we provided the consultation materials, some summaries of the presentations as well as reports from the roundtables online. 7 en 8 APRIL 2017: Amsterdam City Consulation
Op vrijdagmiddag 7 en zaterdag 8 April 2017 (ochtend en middag) organiseert het ACCL een stads consultatie voor voorgangers en leiders uit Amsterdam. Deze unieke bijeenkomst brengt leiders uit de stad samen om bemoedigd te worden met hoop van Gods Koninkrijk voor Amsterdam en rondom de vragen:

  • Waar zien we God aan het werk in de stad?
  • Wat heeft de stad nodig?
  • Wat is de huidige bijdrage van de Kerk in de stad?
  • Waar worden we door Gods Geest toe uitgedaagd?
  • Welke stappen kunnen we in de komende jaren samen nemen om hiervoor gebruikt te worden?

Er zal onderzoek worden gepresenteerd dat als basis dient voor het bovenstaande en zijn er toespraken, workshops, ronde tafel gesprekken, inspiratie- en gebedsmomenten, en gebed.
Zet dit event alvast in uw agenda. Binnenkort sturen we meer informatie en de mogelijkheid om u aan te melden.

April 7 and 8, 2017: Amsterdam City Consultation
On Friday afternoon April 7  and Saturday, April 8, 2017 (morning and afternoon) the ACCL organizes a city consultation for pastors and leaders from Amsterdam. This unique consultation assembles leaders from the city to be encouraged with the hope of the Kingdom for Amsterdam and to gather around questions like:

  • What is God already doing in or city?
  • What are the needs and realities of our city?
  • What is the current contribution of the Church in the city?
  • What is the challenge of the Holy Spirit for the Church in the City?
  • Which steps can we take together in the coming years in order to be used for this challenge?

There will be presentations of new research in the city that will serve as a foundation for the conversations mentioned above. There will also be keynotes, workshops, roundtable discussions, moments of inspiration and prayer.

ACCL Research project in Amsterdam

Vanaf december wordt in een research project gestart in Amsterdam in samenwerking met Bakke Graduate University (Dallas TX). Het onderzoek zoekt antwoorden op gebieden:
Het kennen van de stad: wat zijn de meest specifieke aspecten van de stad (sterktes, zwaktes, noden en cultuur) die geadresserd moeten worden in het uitreiken naar en gebed voor de stad?
De impact van de Kerk van Amsterdam op de stad: Wat is de visie op de stad en het Koninkrijk van God? Slagen we in het maken van discipelen van Jezus in de culturen van de stad? Welke relevante bedieningen zijn er vanuit het Lichaam van Christus die impact hebben op de stad?
Binnenkort ontvangt u een enquete voor dit onderzoek en wij vragen u hier van harte aan mee te werken.
De resultaten van dit project zullen worden gepresenteerd op de Amsterdam City Consultation (7 & 8 april.).

ACCL Research project in Amsterdam:
Starting in December  this year the ACCL will do a research project in Amsterdam in cooperation with Bakke Graduate University (Dallas TX). The research seeks data in two areas:
Knowing our city: what are the specific features of our city (assets, needs, culture) that needs to be addressed in reaching out to serve the city and pray for her?
The current impact of the Church in Amsterdam on the city of Amsterdam: what is the vision for the city and the Kingdom of God? Are we making disciples amongst the (sub)cultures in the city? What are the relevant ministries from the Church that impact our city?
Soon you will receive a survey for this research and we kindly request you to cooperate in this project.
The results of this research will be presented in the Amsterdam City Consultation (April 7 & 8).
